Day 142 March 31st 2007, Not quite the Tour de France - Melbourne

Myself and Shelley are not know for success when it comes to cycling. A weeks cycling in the Azores around extinct volcano's left me needing a week off work and we ended up having to push our bikes most of the way round the Queen Charlotte Trek in New Zealand. So it came as no surprise that on hiring our bikes today all the was left were the most ridiculous bikes you have ever seen.

Luckily for once the cycle path was very flat indeed so the lack of gears wasn't really a problem. One of the highlights of Melbourne has to be the food, there are streets dedicated to restaurants from each corner of the World so one things for sure you should never go hungry here

Highlights: A cruise along the river
