Day 47 December 26th 2006, 5 Star hotel and book shops - El Calafate

The day started early again with a 6:30am bus from El Chalten to El Calafate, where Shelley had booked us into a 5 star hotel overlooking lago Argentino, apparently for my Birthday, yeah right, any excuse I suppose for a bit of luxury. After lazing around for most of the day we managed to find a bookshop that sold books written in English and stocked up on reading material.

Highlights: Lazing around in luxury
