Day 167 April 25th 2007, Spaghetti tour continues - Ayers Rock to Brisbane via Sydney

The sunrises here at about 6:30 so getting up about 5:30 allows you plenty of time to watch the sunrise over Ayers Rock and the Olgas. We were then first to the Olgas where we walked 7km through the Valley of the Winds.

Yes its the same outfit I wore yesterday

There are no direct flights to Brisbane from Ayers Rock, the best route being via Sydney. Our trip round Oz hasn't been the most optimised with this being the 3rd time we have flown into Sydney. So why are we going to Brisbane, Shelley's cousin Dani lives there.

After leaving Ayers Rock around midday we arrived in Brisbane at about 6:30PM. Given that it was such a long day we were very grateful to Dani for collecting us and driving us 100km North of Brisbane to her family's home. Given that Dani has 4 kids I didn't get much sympathy on the time I got up or how tired I was.

Highlights: The walk through the Valley of the Winds and meeting Dani & Family
